The 2006 hunting season began with the Antelope hunting trip to Wright, Wyoming. Once again
I went with Buzz, David and Bill. We had 5 tags and had to battle the wind to fill them. We
had to fill 4 tags in one day. It was a long day, but we did fill all the tags.
I then joined John Ferguson, his uncle and his hunting party in Gunnison. We had 7 tags total.
3 buck tags, 3 bull elk tags and a cow elk tag. Once again, I saw everything that I did not
have a tag for, up close and personal! Both trips were great! I did not fill my elk tag,
but out of the 7 tags, 4 were filled. 3 buck deer and a bull elk. Great views in Gunnison,
lots of hiking and snow.
