The nice thing about being married is the occasional hidden talent, like making crowns of flowers up on Usedom two weekends ago.

In August we went to Denmark for a wedding and some vacation. The first place we stayed had a trampoline. We finished the two weeks with some days in Kassel (bunch of pics over on Flickr).

Internal and external forces are conspiring to make a significant change in my professional life. While thinking about it this morning, I realized that Martha and Cy have not only added more chaos and turmoil to my life, but also a constant, reliable and very positive energy.

So I decided it was time to finish an update on this site started a year ago to make real comments possible again by eliminating comment spam -- so comment by clicking the tiny 'comments' link below the picture. I've surrendered design and all the coding junk to Blogger because I no longer enjoy it. And all I really want to do is post tons of pictures of the kids.

This weekend we promised Martha we'd go to the Kindermuseum (aka MachMit Museum (TakePart Museum)), but we never made it. So we went yesterday to make up for it. The museum had a great interactive -- analog not digital -- exhibit on saltmaking in the Middle Ages, but the real reason anyone goes is for the massive vertical maze, to wit:
