Sunday we went swimming at Humboldthain. It rained the night before so the water was a bit chilly -- confirmed by the speed at which both kids got blue lips.
Neither one liked the kiddie pool much. Sabine says you always have fries for lunch when spending the day at the pool.
Two weeks ago we flew to Stuttgart for a wedding. Cy was fine except for about five minutes on the return flight. He was frustrated he couldn't whack the tray table (and annoy the person sitting in the seat in front of him) non-stop.
Maybe our kids just think travel is an everyday part of life.
Which it is.
Never before in my life have I been so acutely aware of every ice cream store in a three-block radius. The best is over on Husemannstrasse.
Sometimes you just can't even make it to the crib for a nap.

This is the advantage of working at home. You go out on your office balcony to check the weather and find your entire family in your office courtyard.
