Berlin is a collection of neighborhoods that residents rarely leave. While this raises obvious integration issues on every level, it also means one can often run into friends -- say on a Friday afternoon on the playground.

And that Friday afternoon then winds up being a Friday night in the living room with beers and frozen pizzas.
