Sabine took these and claims they show the kids' room as well as the babies. I see mostly babies. Cy's on the changing table and you can see the floor, which is partly a soft, plastic coating on concrete in the front and smoked oak in the back. The pedstal part (where the oak flooring is) is on both floors because that area used to be a stairwell for the adjacent building, which disappeared sometime during WWII. Instead of tearing the remains down, they just made it a part of our building.

The other is Martha standing by the wall under a present from Janet that originated at product-design school (a pic of people and the content of their bags).

To kill two birds with one stone, I figured I could mix pics of the kids with fotos of the new pad.

Here I'm standing in the front door and Cy is in the foyer. The stairs go down to the bedroom/office, master bath and kids' room. Standing in the hallway to the left you can look through the kitchen (the red cupboard and shoe rack are the backside of the kitchen) and into the living room.

The smoked oak floor is a bit messy from a recent playground trip and Sabine says I have to put the bike down in the cellar.

This Saturday Martha's friend Noi (pronounced Know-ee) spent the night. Sunday I pulled milk-warming duty.

They didn't think I was warming fast enough.
